LOGGING GUIDE AS PER DGCA REQUIREMENT

A MUST TO UNDERSTAND AND A MUST TO FOLLOW

*  From Date of arrival,Spl will be issued in 15-30days.
*  A day after Spl is issued log 10+30 hours(AS DUAL)in strictly ten days.
* Make sure that the pre-solo logging/flying in the logbook is signed  by the FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR,It is preferred that the F.I.s
that will sign your logbook mst be the one that usually file the particular aircraft that you will use for logging/flying for pre-solo.

* get pre-solo certification and stamping.
* make sure to have a pre-solo exam permit, again this is being provided by CAAP itself ammediately after the stamping is made by the check pilot.

* From the issue OF SPL to meeting the PPL requirement IT MUST BE STRICTLY OBSERVED that logging should be between 40-45 days.
* logging for PPL must have a total of 45 hours minimum  but must not exceed 50 hours. at PPl logging the following requirement must be met:
a). 1 across- country dual for 250 NM.
  b). 2 across-country solo for 250 NM.
* It is ideal to start cross country logging between 21-25 hours.
* The following month log another 35-40 hours which will include 10 *hours of C-172 (additional rating) with 7x dual logging and 3x solo. *having done this, 80 hours logging is over.
*Again another 35-40 hours on the following month.
*Also the folowing month around 30-35 hours must be logged to meet *the 150 hors requirement for CPl in whihc the break-up are as folows:
  a). 70 hours solo local
  b). 30 hours colo cross-country
c). 30 hours dual local with 5 hours instrument flyng (IR) on C-172
  d). 20 hours dual cross-country
........of which another 5 hours must be logged for IR, 5 hours on SIM.

* After accomplishing this, you can go back to india for DGCMA exam if full payment is done with yor CPL if you want to go back without multi-engine rating abd IR.
* Having followed the guide you can get your CPL in 6 month.
We advise as much as possible for everyone to finish everything until IR, but if you intend to go back to india that is discretion, but finishing flying and paper work in 6-7 months is a protection against any fuel increase or any changes the management implements which surprises everyone after they come back from india.
* After CPL or arriving from india you can continue logging on C-172 to meet the 4 cross-country.
* And then another 10 hours of actual IR.
* Then another 10 hours on simulated IR.
* And 30 hours of SIM within a month.
* Make sure to meet the 125 PIC, with 50 hours solo cross-country *and the aforementioned IR logging for your IR requirement.
* Until IR you will meet approximately 200 hours logging.
* The next 30 hors requirement is a must to fully accomplish the DGCA reqirement and they are the following:
  a). 120 NM check (night)
  b). 250 NM cross-country check
  c). 300 NM cross-country check
d). 5-hours PIC night and take-offs and 10 landings by night in the last six months
  e). 2-IR approaches.
